CS - WEEK 1 - End in sight?

So far terrific work.

Let's tweak it some more and make it concrete.

Don't forget to check your classmate's blogs; it counts.

AT WHAT POINT SHOULD WE CONSIDER OUR LAYOUTS SATISFACTORY??? IF I AM NOT CAREFUL, I AM SURE THAT I CAN WORK, AND RE-WORK THIS THING TO DEATH.... ANY SUGGESTIONS??

Peter (and really everyone), you bring up the old question that haunts all of us: when do we stop designing. The simple answer is never, as you know.
The process of blogging, critiquing each other and being able to react to many source of comments makes for a process that is not as linear as the old style instructing where an assignment was given at eight in the morning and had to be returned by five that evening. Each of you is working in her/his own pace; some post early, fast and often, reacting heavily to comments; others wait to see, hopefully comment a lot and produce theirs late. When to call it quits is up to you. You hopefully have by now in your own work or from witnessing others learned what was important in the exercise. We will be looking briefly at the week 1 assignment when we meet face-to-face, I’m expecting still some “uh-huh, now I get it”.

I find in working in as many medias as possible helps exploration into the problem of space. After all when all is said and done, the more we know about a problem the better will be our solution.
