The front of the planter(towards the street) will have cap flashing and the pack part slosests to the room will have plasterformed profile anchored to galv. metal studs. Their will be a drain in the small roof area which has the dedum trays for water overflow. This overflow and the water accumulated from the decks from a floor drain will be accumulated as part of the graywater system and be filtered for reuse.
The "legs" of the planter which you see in deail will be cleated to the floor of the plank allowing water - to move to the outside. I have seen the detial on the trespa website and Mr. Lee Fry of Trespa has indicted that the detials for the products on the website are lacking in specifics- especially for windows. You are correct inthat the slope of the deck should swail to a center drain and not to the outside. I must revise the detail with the soffit panel their must be a break to allow the vertical panel to by pass the horizontal panel.
Werner: The Evaloy membrane recommended by Buidling Logics would be the membrane used in the "tray area". The Trespa system is only a screen it is not ment to be waterproof, please see revised sketch. Tom
